This dual-action sanitiser and softener has been developed to break the cycle of bacterial growth, giving you the reassurance of hygienically clean laundry. Unlike traditional fabric softeners, it does not coat clothes with waxy residues, leaving fabrics soft, fresh, and breathable.

Added to the final rinse, it ensures all washable fabrics are sanitised, softened, and deodorised, perfect for towels, bedding, gym wear, and everyday loads where you want extra protection.

Tested in accordance with BS EN 1276, it kills 99.9% of bacteria responsible for odours, infections, and re-infections. Works in hot or cold water on all washable fabrics.

FOR OPTIMAL RESULTS: We recommend the use of Power Of 4 Laundry Sanitiser Softener Liquid in conjunction with either Power Of 4 Ultra Concentrate Liquid or Power Of Laundry Powder.

FAQs

Q: What makes this different from supermarket fabric softeners?

A: Unlike traditional softeners that leave a waxy coating on fabrics, this formula softens without residue, keeping fabrics breathable and fresh.

Q: Does it fit into a low tox lifestyle?

A: This product sanitises using benzalkonium chloride (a quaternary ammonium compound). While effective, it is a synthetic ingredient and not considered fully natural. In laundry, it is heavily diluted and rinsed out, making it safe for everyday use, including baby clothes. If you prefer to avoid it, check out our blog on low tox laundry alternatives.

Q: Is it safe for sensitive skin?

A: Yes. Residues are minimal after rinsing. For extra peace of mind, use your machine’s extra rinse cycle.

Q: How does it compare to vinegar or essential oils?

A: Vinegar can help soften fabrics but may damage washing machine rubber seals with long term use. Essential oils provide scent but do not sanitise. For a natural sanitiser, hydrogen peroxide or sodium percarbonate (oxygen bleach) are excellent eco friendly options.

Q: When should I use it?

A: We recommend using it for loads that benefit most from sanitising such as towels, bedding, sportswear, or when kids are unwell, and lighter options like vinegar or oxygen bleach for everyday washes if you want to reduce environmental impact.

Free delivery on orders over $100 (maximum 3kg)

Local Delivery:

Local delivery is available within 10km. To find out if your address qualifies and the delivery fee, please proceed to checkout.

  • For deliveries within 3 km: Delivery is free and will generally be completed on the same day if the order is placed before midday.
  • For deliveries greater than 3 km: Deliveries will be made on Mondays, Tuesdays, or delivered by our Courier partners within 8 business days.

Please note, we generally do not offer weekend deliveries.

Free local pickup:

Free local pickup is available weekdays. You will receive an email once your order is ready for pickup, usually within 24 business hours. Please select a time slot and respond to the email.

Weekend pickup can be pre-arranged. Please contact us when placing your order to schedule a time.

Western Australia:

Interparcel/Aramex Courier Service Perth Metro:

Perth Metro courier delivery is available for street addresses only within the Perth metropolitan area.

Perth Metro boundaries extend from Alkimos in the north to Mandurah in the south. Eastern suburb boundaries vary.

  • $10 Flat rate (22kg maximum).
  • Free delivery is available for orders over $150.
  • Delivered by Aramex via Interparcel.

Please note:

PO Boxes, Parcel Lockers and Parcel Collect addresses do not qualify for Interparcel/Aramex delivery.

Incorrect Shipping Selection:

If an incorrect shipping option is selected, we will contact you to arrange payment of the remaining postage required.

If we do not receive a response within 48 hours, the order will be cancelled and refunded minus any non-refundable payment processing fees.

Australia Post Delivery:

Australia Post delivery is available for all Western Australian addresses, including:

  • PO Boxes
  • Parcel Lockers
  • Parcel Collect locations
  • Regional and remote areas
  • Rural Perth

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and order weight.

If your address does not fall within the Perth Metro courier zone, Australia Post delivery must be selected at checkout.

We ship Australia wide using Australia Post.

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on delivery address and order weight.

Delivery timeframes vary depending on location. Once your order has been dispatched, tracking details will be sent via email.

Sustainable Packaging:

We do our best to reduce waste and minimise our environmental impact. Where possible, your order may be packed using reused or recycled packaging materials, which means you might receive your delivery in a box or parcel with other branding. Rest assured, your products inside are fresh, safe, and carefully packed—thank you for supporting our sustainability efforts!

Processing time:

We aim to carefully package and ship your order within 2 business days. You will be notified as soon as your order has been processed and shipped! 

Delivery delays can sometimes occur, these are beyond our control, and we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. 

Orders with presale items will be shipped together, we aim to keep the ETA up to date on the relevant product pages; however, as above, delivery delays can occur and are out of our control.

New Zealand:

Shipping Calculated at Checkout, shipped by Auspost.

Shipping Partners:

Shipping is completed by Aramex and Australia Post. Note only Auspost can deliver to Parcel Lockers, Parcel Collect or PO Boxes. 

Notifications:

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.

Queries or questions about your order:

Please allow at least 2 business days after placing your order before contacting us. If you are unhappy with your order due to quality or a discrepancy, please email us and we will aim to resolve your issue. 

Returns Policy

We want you to love your order from Botanic Balance.

General Policy
Our standard return period is 30 days from the date of purchase. Unfortunately, we can’t offer refunds or exchanges after 30 days.

Botanic Balance Skin Range
We understand that skincare can be personal and may take a little trial and error.

  • If your tallow-based skincare product didn’t work for you, you may return it within 14 days of receiving your order — no questions asked.
  • Please email hello@botanicbalance.com.au with your order details, and we’ll provide return instructions.
  • Return shipping is at your cost. Once received, we’ll issue a refund or exchange for the product purchase price (excluding shipping).

If the product is unopened and unused, you may still return it within 30 days under our standard policy.

General Products (NaturoBest, Power of 4, Nut Grocer, Cell Squared)
For health and safety reasons, all other products can only be returned if they are unopened, unused, and in re-saleable condition, or if found to be faulty or damaged on arrival.
Please contact us within 7 days of delivery if your item is faulty or incorrect so we can arrange a replacement or refund.

How to Return an Item

  • Your order number and the item you’d like to return
  • The reason for your return (optional for skincare)
  • We’ll send you the return address and next steps.

Shipping costs for returns are the responsibility of the customer, and original shipping fees are non-refundable.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
